Obituary of Robert V. Scott

Robert V. Scott, 79, born January 25, 1935, went to be with Our Heavenly Father at 2:53 am on August 28, 2014. He was a loving, kind and cherished father & husband of Arlene and their three children Randy Lee, Robert Lowell (Robin), and daughter Renee Lynn. He was born in Greene, N.Y to Marion and Clayton Scott. He grew up in Boston, Massachusetts until 7th grade and returned to Greene where he finished school. He married his sweetheart Arlene Perry in 1954 while serving in the US Army. They went on to have two sons, Randy Lee, Robert Lowell (Robin) and a daughter Renee Lynn. Robert and Arlene just celebrated their 61st anniversary in April of 2014. He had two brothers, Lawrence (deceased), Donald Frederic (deceased), and a sister, Joanne F Schneider of Melbourne FL. Robert loved people and played a mean cornet in the service and out. His occupation was a Heavy Equipment Salesman and owned his own company in Buffalo N.Y. before retiring to Florida. He played Santa Claus for many years in Greene to all the children of the town and many of the nursing homes. He leaves behind his loving wife Arlene, his sister Joanne, his three children, seven grandchildren, five step grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Bob will be sorely missed by all who came in contact with him throughout his life. Rest in Peace and please watch over us all from above.Services are private.
