Obituary of Opal Crossland Grandbouche Kruk

Opal Crossland Grandbouche Kruk 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Huntingon Place in Rockledge, FL. She was born in Grandfield, OK. She was a majorette in high school and worked in civil service on the Marine Base in San Diego, CA. She was the first female clerk to distribute uniforms to the Marines. She worked as a change person in Las Vegas, NV and she also like working as a waitress. She like to dance, going to movies, enjoyed walking and shopping at the malls. Opal lived most of her life in CA around the San Francisco Bay area. She raised two sons as a single parent and retired as a waitress. She moved to Oklahoma City, OK 1992 for four years and1996 moved to Cape Canaveral, FL. She was a member of Grace Bible Presbyterian Church of Cape Canaveral, and a member of the Moose Lodge. Opal is survived by her oldest son, James Bernie Grandbouche and his wife, Noreen of Melbourne. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Ted Grandbouche; both of her husbands, Bernard Grandbouche and Jan Kruk; her parents, James and Mary Crossland; and 11 siblings.
