Christa C. Gambo, 84, of Melbourne, FL died at home on October 16, 2017. She was born on February 3, 1933 in Leipzig, Germany to Gerhard and Irma Kummer Hoier. Her family includes her daughters Melody Sontag, Katherine Pousland, and Susan Geleng; grandchildren Jennifer, Tracy, Patrick, Douglas, Kyle, A.J., Brian, Jonathan, Melissa, Christopher, Kevin, Melinda, Amanda and Shawn; 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John Gambo and her daughter Debra. Christa came to the USA from Germany when she was 16 and was a seamstress. She enjoyed puzzles.
