Joe Carpentier I played golf with Mike in the same fore some at RW the last seven years. Every Mon. Morning Mike was there with a smile, and a good morning Joe. What a wonderful, pleasent, fellow he was. I will surely miss you. No more sand traps Mike. Rest In Peace.J

GOOD BY MICHAEL, AS THE PRESIDENT OF THE GOLF LEAGUE IN BRADENTON IT WAS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SEE YOU AS ONE OF THE FIRST PLAYERS TO ARRIVE AFTER I HAD ARRIVED. ALWAYS A GOOD MORNING – A SMILE- AND A HAPPY GREETING. THE LAST 2 WEEKS YOU PLAYED YOU TOLD ME PAT, MY GAME IS NOT VERY GOOD ANYMORE – I REPLIED MICHAEL MY FRIEND – YOU ARE HERE TRYING AND THAT IS BETTER THAN GIVING UP – NOT KNOWING HOW SICK YOU WERE YOU ONLY SLIGHTLY MENTIONED SOMETHING WAS NOT RIGHT IN YOUR CHEST. Words can’t express how sad we are too hear about the passing of the best grandpa in the world. I will miss him everyday. I have many great and funny memories of my grandpa but my favorite one is when I went to visit him down in Florida and he cooked me and my mother dinner. London Broil a type of steak is what he cooked and I ate 16 slices. He was so impressed of how much I could eat and after that day he would always make it when I went down to visit. Not only is he funny and kind but one of the best cooks I know. I’ll miss calling him on every Veterans Day and thanking him for his service and then getting to talk to him. His smile always lit up my day because when he smiled I thought he was the cutest happiest grandpa ever and I am lucky that he is mine. Even though we can’t see him anymore it’s almost twice as good because now he will always be with us and joining us in whatever we do! Love you grandpa and I’m so happy your in a better place now, can’t wait for when I see you again.
