My dear brother Dave, I love you and I’m going to miss you sooooo much. My heart is broken knowing that Ill never be able to see you anymore in this lifetime, but I will rejoice when we meet again in your new life in Heaven. I will always cherish the great times we shared growing up together and certainly never forget the first time you showed me how to play Smoke On The Water on guitar. When I start my band, I’m going to play that song in your honor. I’m blessed to have had you as my brother and my best friend. Rest in peace my brother.

To the King family, may you find comfort in all the happy memories you share with David. We spent the last few years of elementary school in the same class at Mt. Carmel and I cherish the memories. Rest is peace David.

I too met Dave in 1979 when he moved to Staten Island. We established a great teenage friendship that I will never forget. Dave was the older brother I never had even though we were the same age. He tried to teach me how to play the guitar and broke a string in the process while listening to my Supertramp album. As the years progressed, we lost touch, but thought of him quite often. Never can say goodbye. Rest in peace brother, until we meet again………..Nick

I grew up on Staten Island with Dave, coming over to my house on Bard Ave and making prank calls saying he was wolf man jack. Nicky Vaglio just informed me of what happened, I am very sad about what happened. We lost touch and we.lived so close and I didn’t even know it. May Dave rest in peace and my prayers are with all his family. 3522326845 is my number..If you can have Robert call me I would greatly appreciate it.
