Obituary of Robert E. Willis
Robert E. +óGé¼+ôLucky+óGé¼-¥ Willis passed from this life on 09/14/2015, and was laid to rest in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Titusville, FL on 09/18/2015 . He was born on 6/23/1935, in Danville, VA to the late Eugene B. and Lillie W. Willis. He joined the Air Force at the age of 17 and while stationed in Marietta, Ga met and married his wife, Patsy. Lucky also served in Korea in the 1950s and in 1960, he moved his family to Cocoa Beach where he was employed by PanAm in fire/security. He spent many years +óGé¼+ôdown range+óGé¼-¥
on Eleuthera, Grand Turk and Ascension Island on missile tracking stations that supported the early space program. In 1979, Lucky began working for Brevard County
as a fire safety officer and retired from that position after 21 years. He was an avid reader and movie fan. He is survived by Patricia +óGé¼+ôPatsy+óGé¼-¥ J. Willis, his wife of 61
