Dear John and Jim,
Tony and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. It hasn’t been that long since you lost your beloved mom, so this has to be terribly difficult for both of you. Your parents were such special people, and you were a very close family. We have so many wonderful memories of both your parents, so much laughter! They had the greatest sense of humor, and I’ll never forget when they tricked me into eating sloppy joes made from venison. I should have figured it was venison the way they both stopped eating and watched me eat and smack my lips saying how delicious it was, then telling me it was made from venison while bursting into laughter! Just so, so many wonderfully happy memories. They were our “family” when we moved up here in ’74, and helped us out so much. Now they’re together again, and your dad is probably starting a new collection of antiques in his new home in Heaven.
