Obituary of George W. “Bill” Kuntz

George W. “Bill” Kuntz, age 87, died peacefully at home on January 13, 2019. He was a follower of Christ and is for eternity with his Father in heaven.
Originally from Kokomo, IN he was a farmer since childhood, until he retired in 2000.
Married to Joan F. Kuntz for 43 years, they were snowbirds till then. They took advantage of the many activities offered in the community they lived for 34 years.
Volunteering at the church and Habitat for Humanity, he always had a trunk full of tools ready to help with any and all odd jobs. George was very active at the Palm Bay Senior Center. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Joan F. Kuntz; his children, Richard P. Kuntz of CA, Kathy Brown (Rusty) of CA, and Diane Phillips of IN. Locally his step-children are Deborah Worthington (Jack), Susan Paxton (Orlando), David Panizza (Judy), Penny Houser (Tom); 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; and his brother PH Kuntz (Chiquita) of IN.
Many thanks to Health First Hospice of Melbourne and the great care they provided to him and our family. Special thanks goes to Angela who lifted us the minute she walked through the door to care for “the love of her life”. Consistent, always, her love, exceptional care, true dedication to her patient is unsurpassed. We are forever grateful.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Melbourne.
