Obituary of Rose M. Gabriele

Gabriele, Rose of Melbourne, FL passed away April 6th, 2020, at the age of 95.  Born in Port Chester, NY on August 26, 1924 to Damiano and Carmela (Fortunato) Gabriele. Rose enjoyed children and after raising her own, spent many years working as a nanny taking care of other children as well as her grandchildren. Her favorite pastime was reading and in her spare time could often be found reading one of her many romance novels. Rose was the loving mother to seven children, Al Ferraro of Bristol, Ct; Cammy DellaPosta (Albert, Sr.) of Melbourne, FL; Joe Ferraro (Cheryl) of Morris, CT; Michael Ferraro (Wa) of Thomaston, CT and Marie Azaltovic (Rob) of Melbourne, FL.  She was predeceased by two sons, Tommy Ferraro and Frank Ferraro. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren: Michael, Christopher, Christina, Dominic, Erica, Stacey, Justin, Amanda, Brendan, Michael, Robert and John. She was predeceased by her grandson Albert, Jr.  She has five great grandchildren. She also leaves her brother Frank Gabriele of Stamford, CT.  She was predeceased by two sisters Marie Lamberti and Sue DeCarlo. Rose will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to meet her.
