Obituary of Maggie Juanita Woodham
Maggie Juanita Woodham, born 2/11/32 went home to be with The Lord on the morning of 12/27/16. Nita was preceded in death by her husband Harold Woodham and was born in Washington County, Florida. She was the only girl out of 7 children.
She is survived by one of her six bothers, James Robbins, her daughters Juanita Gay Christie (Chris), Lillian Joy Truscio (Jim), Merry Darlene Krummel (BJ) and Sereatha Lynn Nobles (Irvin); 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Nita and Harold were owners and operators of the Doggone Grocery from 1961-1979. Nita, in later years, retired from Bonneville Elementary as a paraprofessional and was instrumental in starting the first mainstream autistic unit in the Orange County Public Schools system. After her retirement, Nita volunteered her time in the public school systems as well as with hospice. Nita was a long-time member of the Rockledge Church of Christ.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, December 30th at Rockledge Church of Christ, 2390 S Fiske Blvd Rockledge, Fl 32955.
