Beth had a great love for teaching, she was an educator for nearly 40 years. She was deeply involved in her teachers’ sorority, Alpha Delta Kappa and was given the lifetime achievement award of the “Golden Sister.” She was a Girl Scout troop leader for many years, as well as, a Yellow Lady volunteer at Sebastian River Hospital. Beth and her first husband, Roger, were founding members of the First Presbyterian Church in Sebastian, FL. Beth and Roger enjoyed square dancing, golf and traveling in their large motor coach across the country. After Roger passed away, she found love again with Frosty. Beth and Frosty were the first couple married in the new sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church in Sebastian. She found another partner in life and they would take many cruises to Europe.
Beth will be mourned by her three children; daughter, Faye Sheppard; two sons, Robert Edward Heath, and wife, Irene of Fredericksburg, VA and Scott Richard Heath and wife, Linda of Denver, Colorado; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Beth will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to a local elementary school’s classroom for school supplies. Teaching was dear to Beth’s heart and she wanted to make sure that all children have access and tools to continue with their education.
