Obituary of Richard William Palmer
Richard William Palmer, from Jasper and Melbourne, Florida, son, brother, father and loving husband entered into heaven on April 29, 2019.
Rick is survived by the love of his life, Linda of 55 years and mother Betty Palmer. Sons Bill (wife Mary) and Tim (wife Yvette). Grandchildren Billy, Amber, Kamryn, Garrett and sister Karen Turowski.
He worked at Harris (Radiation) for 36 years. After retiring, Rick and Linda moved to North Florida. He loved riding their horses Chisum, Sterling and Valedor on the trails in and around McCulley farms. Rick and Linda enjoyed traveling the United States and trail riding in 37 states and making many friends. He coached youth sports at St Joseph’s school in Palm Bay in the 70’s, baseball team (Goodyear) at Melbourne Little League at Fee Ave and youth soccer in Palm Bay. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching his grandchildren doing all their activities.
Rick (Cowboy Rick to his horse riding family) loved helping people on all the trail rides. He especially liked helping the rides for the boys ranch.
