Obituary of Edwin Cunningham

Edwin “Michael” Cunningham of Micco passed away at home Thursday, June 6, 2019. He is survived by his wife Barbara Cunningham, daughters Kathleen Lloyd and husband Rick, Teresa Smith and husband Dave, Bridget Bruno and husband Charles, sons Timothy Cunningham and wife Hope and Sean Cunningham and wife Linda. Grandchildren Ryan Lloyd, Brett Lloyd, Angela Jekeli and husband Jon, Pat Bruno, Jeremiah Cunningham, Joshua Cunningham and wife Annika, Micaela Cunningham, Tara Cunningham, Rori Cunningham, Riley Cunningham, Emma Leigh Cunningham, Jack Cunningham, Kendall Smith and great grandson Teddy Jekeli. He was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Virginia Cunningham and brothers Peter and Brian Cunningham. Michael retired from the Ft. Lauderdale Police Department in 1987 and was a veteran of the United States Army and United States Coast Guard. He was also an active member of several boards and committees in Brevard County, including the Library and Marine Advisory Boards. A service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, June 9th at First Baptist Church of Barefoot Bay, 303 Barefoot Blvd, Barefoot Bay.
