Obituary of Patricia Carol Anderson
Patricia Carol Anderson, 74, died on Thursday March 31, 2016 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida.
Born in Bear Valley, Wisconsin, she lived in the Wisconsin, Illinois and Ohio area until 1981, when she moved to Melbourne, Florida.
Patricia worked for a local lumber business for many years as secretary to the president. She served as a vice president in the local home builders association.
Patricia loved children and had a nursery in her home for many years. She still kept in touch with many of those children even though they are grown. Many either in college, graduated from college of moved on with their lives and into other endeavors.
In the past 15 years she has been a homemaker.
She loved flowers and the Florida Flora and her home with her husband Richard, reflected this. Outside it is like living in early Florida before civilization. Their home always had flowers inside.
Patricia was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed nothing more than to be making clothing for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also would make many things for friends and relatives.
She made afghans and quilts and gave many as gifts to her many friends and her family.
In her high school days, Patricia was very active in school. She participated in sports such as track and volleyball, was a majorette and a cheerleader for Hononegah High school in the small town of Rockton, Illinois.
Patricia attended the Discover Life Church at 3350 Eau Gallie Boulevard, Melbourne.
She leaves her husband of 54 years Richard, son Rondey Anderson, daughter Theresa Patricia Williams, daughter Samantha Anderson Turner, brother Delos Craig, Brother Ray Craig, grandchildren Nicole, Holden, Caleb, Jaret, Ali, and great grandchildren Teagan, Aubrey, Colton, Faiyth.
Her husband will remember her as a woman who would help anyone at any time and the most wonderful wife any man could ever hope to have. “I will miss her for as long as I live”.The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until time of services at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 8,2016 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 South Hickory Street, MelbourneIn lieu of sending flowers she asks that you make donations to: Hospice of Health First, 1900 Dairy Road, West Melbourne FL 32904.
