Obituary of Bruce Vincent Mack
Bruce was born on June 17, 1942 and left to be with our Lord and Saviour on September 18, 2017. Bruce graduated High School from Williamsburg High School in Williamsburg, Massachusetts in 1960.
After high school Bruce entered the Marine Corps served in the 2nd Marine Division’s 8th Engineering Battalion. He served his country from 1960-1966. He was a lover of his country and all that democracy stands for.
Upon return to the United States, Bruce had two children, Sara Mack Bowman (Rob) and Steven Bruce Mack. Both currently live in the Houston area. In 1979 Bruce met his wife Heather Murphy Mack. The two were married in 1982 in Cocoa Beach. Bruce was an accomplished carpenter, working for many residents of Brevard County as well as Broward County. He loved his craft and began wood carving in his retirement. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and a lover of golf. Bruce passed away from lung and throat cancer after a two year battle. He had a strong constitution and was able to take this battle in stride. He loved his wife and children and will guide them throughout the rest of their lives from the other side.
Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, at Church of Our Savior, 5301 North Atlantic Avenue, Cocoa Beach, FL.
