Hey Brother Mike!!! You pulled a sneaky in the wee hours of morning; you peacefully and quietly slipped away. I hope I can go the same way.
But; I did not get the chance to wish you bon voyage; happy trails to you. I am the oldest; I expected to go first.
I am so great full for the time we had to gather and we reconnected after a long absence. We joked and talked just like old times.
We were to sail and play a duet on the flute.
I gave you a professional flute on our last visit.
You are playing the flute professionally with the angels now.
My best to Mom and Dad till we are all together again; patiently waiting for you your brother Guy. Love and Peace

I didn’t know John Michael long. I met him a few years ago while we were all working in the Bay Area. We lived together for a few months cramped in a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment with 4 other brothers. He had a profound effect on me in that short time. I can’t imagine what a loss the family must be feeling if he had such an impact in such a short time. It was great to hear from him after we had gone home and our separate ways. No doubt a hardworking man. My condolences to the family. It was a pleasure to meet and get to know John Michael.

I worked with him on the mobile launcher at the cape. John was one of the most positive and happy people I ever met. Even on our most horrible day, in our darkest hour where we just wanted to quit….. he would find a way to make us laugh and leave on a positive note, heading home with smiles on our faces. Him and his famous flute brightened our days! Thank you so much John Micheal!

He was known on our job for his famous emt flute which he would always impress everyone with and his famous catch phrase “PULL THE WIRE”. He will be missed by many but never forgotten.

I am so grateful to be able to call John Michael Wilson “Brother”. He was a great electrician, a kind person, and someone who embraced our Brotherhood with zest. His presence will be missed at Union meetings and functions. Be assured that we will be talking about John Michael for a long time to come and when we do, our laughter about his fun nature will overcome the tears that are shed over the loss that we feel during this time of sorrow. John Michael Wilson was so loved by all who knew him. Please accept my heartfelt condolences and prayers for comfort.

I would like to express my heartfelt sympathy to the family for the loss of your dear John Michael. I hope that you will find comfort in the words of Jesus at John 5:28,29 where he promised that the day is coming when he is going to resurrect back to life those in the grave. And they will be brought back to a beautiful paradise earth with no more sickness. (Psalm 37:11,29) (Isaiah 33:24) Until then, it is just like your dear John Michael is sleeping. (John 11:11-13) May your family draw strength from Jehovah, the God of all Comfort.

Dear Skunkie (the best left handed piper ever to exist). Even tho you left me with all these right handed family members I still love you.
There was and never will be anyone like you. From your 1980s entertainment of ugly jiggler finger puppets to our corn cob pipes, they are all treasures to us now.
The only man ever to drag his niece by a rope with one of his famous knots tied to his boat just so she could swim with the dolphins. Or teaching me to dive for the first time but you dropped me in the middle of a jelly fish swarm Thank you for the adventures.
We were Blessed to have you as the center of our family for so many years and we always knew that’s what you were and loved you all the more for it. We Can’t wait to sail with you on your heavenly sail boat. Finally!
Uncle In your honor I’m giving up eating “brother pig” but only for 1 week lol
Love you always and see you again, but not to soon raccoon

My Dearest Brother “By-law”, This is your “Sista By-law”…as we have called each other for over 35 yrs. How are we going to live without YOU? Whose going to torture us with the Flute? Whose going to change our light Bulbs? Put up our flag poles, pick up the insects, when they get in the house? Who am I going to have heated political conversations with? Who is going to make us laugh !?My Heart is Wrenched! Why did you leave us so soon! Whose going to eat my eggplant? I know I can Not be Selfish…..I have to let you go to your Maker. …you where one of the finest men I have ever known! See you in Heaven …”My Brother.” Margarita

Truly a great brother. You were one of the best mechanics I’ve ever known. You knew how to get the work done right and how to make that real fun. Your flute, the pipe horns was something I will remember forever. You would always attend functions when you were here. You are one of the greats and I’m glad you called 606 Orlando home. Miss you my friend, my brother.

John Michael “Hambone” was one of the first journeyman I worked with when I entered the trade. He taught me how to tie knots and pull wire but more importantly he taught me to love what I do and to be nice to everyone. I’ll never forget his infectious smile and EMT flute solos. My deepest condolences to his family.
Rest in peace brother .
