What do you say about a woman like Jeanne? Good friend, loving mother, hard worker. So glad we got to spend a recent Saturday together, enjoying Meg-O-Malleys and shopping in the antique shops, and enjoying a few laughs. You were a good friend to me and am glad I got to know you. Rest in peace. Give Tim a hug for me up there.

You never made it back to Ireland Jeanne, or Easky or Strandhill. I was thinking back earlier today, to the days inTiffany’s and Bruxelles, the Long Hall etc, and Dundrum, Clonsilla and Easky- Louis always said you were a great artist,i think he has some of your paintings.? We know you were trying hard to get to visit Ireland again-getting your Passport renewed and all. We were so looking forward to seeing you again, especially Ailish as she had heard so much about you-it was not to be unfortunately.Rest in Peace Jeanne, love you always, Fintan & Ailish.

yesterday my shipping from 43 yrs in usa was delivered, which Jeanne had helped me pack just 2 months ago in florida. As I struggled to unpack my huge 3 inch memory foam mattress pad from its spacebag I remembered the day Jeanne and I had tried to squeeze it into the spacebag. It was like squeezing a giant marshmallow into a tiny bag, and there we were like 2 kids howling with laughter…tears running down our faces…we collapsed on the floor with it, and she laughed so hard it made me start all over again laughing, and that is how I choose to remember my sister/friend Jeanne, with laughter, as the beautiful human being she was. I will always miss you Jeanne…with my love…joan
