Obituary of Joel M. Geer

Joel Mark Geer Jr. affectionately called “Joey” by his family was born August 21, 1983 in Cleveland, OH to his parents Joel Sr. and Norma Geer. Joel passed away on January 24, 2018 at 35 years old. He is survived by his two sisters Shannon Murray and Samantha Geer; his parents; his niece and nephews Jazmyne, Marcell, Jaiden and his girlfriend and best friend of 12+ years Brittany Sorenson. Joel was always a comedian and knew how to make everyone laugh. He was very active in his niece and nephews lives. He loved to support them and attend as many school and sporting events for them as he could. Joel would buy pizza for his nephews football team every season. Joel was also the kind of person that always looked out for the people he cared about and would give the shirt off of his back if you needed it. He touched many people’s lives and his memory will forever live on through his family.
