Obituary of Terri R Pincus
Terri passed away on Thursday November 21, 2019 peacefully in her sleep after visiting with her niece and nephew that afternoon.
Born Oct 13, 1954 to Morris and Anne Pincus in Washington DC (as Rhonda Terri Pincus) she was the youngest of 3 children. She identified with her middle name that she legally changed to Terri Rhonda Pincus.
She lived most of her life in Maryland where she graduated in 1973 from Paint Branch High School in Silver Spring. Terri moved to Florida with her niece in 2015 where her nephew, Jay also lives. She was more than an Aunt to her nieces and nephews who loved her very much. Terri was a spontaneous Aunt when it came to fun. To Terri Family was very important and she, her sister and niece were very close.
On her last day of her life she was asked what her favorite memory was, and her response was “you all” (her family).
Terri enjoyed working as a school bus aide caring for children and was given the opportunity to drive a school bus which was short lived. Terri loved to cook, and her favorite band was the Beach Boys. Her hobby was painting fingernails in which she was very creative with her designs. She loved her pets that she had throughout her life. One of her pets was a black poodle named Mitzi that she told stories about on her last day.
She was born of Jewish faith and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior in 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Lee Pincus July 8th, 1958; and her sister, Evette Babs Pincus Namm June 22nd, 2012.
Surviving her are: niece, Stacie Namm Weiss and husband David of Palm Bay, Fl; nephews, Jay Namm and wife Cynthia of Jacksonville, Fl and David Namm of AZ; great-nieces, Miranda Leigh Namm and Taylor Noelle Namm, who Terri helped raise, both are from Maryland; and several other great nieces and nephews.
Terri will be cremated under the direction of Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care in Palm Bay, Fl. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Her sweet smile and laugh will be dearly missed by all. God bless your soul Terri. We love you!
