Obituary of Barton M. Howes
Barton M. Howes, 79, passed away with his loving family by his side on Sunday, March 2, 2014 in St. Cloud, Florida after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
Barton was born in Jay, Maine and moved to New Jersey where he attended school and met his wife Julia. They were married for 56 years and shared a wonderful life of camping and traveling with family. He owned and operated Bud’s Septic Service in Osceola County for 13 years. The business is still in operation today and is run by his grandson Russell Jeffcoat and Russell’s father.
He is survived by his wife Julia, sons Steven (Kimberly), Robert, Thomas (Melissa) and daughter Lori (Jay), thirteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sister in law Patricia (Charles) Terreri and several nieces and nephews.
Barton was a great husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be missed by us every day of our lives.
He will be cremated . A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Heartcry Chapel, 2244 East Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee.
