Obituary of Jacquelyn Ida Broce Miller

Miller, Jacquelyn Ida Broce, 84, of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Daleville VA, went to be with the Lord Friday, June 8, 2018. She was born in Christiansburg VA, June 6, 1934. She embraced life to the fullest. Beginning her career as an airline stewardess, before being swept off her feet by her long time love, Hugh Andrew (Andy) Miller II, who was her soulmate for life. Later she became an accomplished real estate agent. She was a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi, and a longtime member of the Eastern Star. She was also a devoted member of the Episcopal Church for many, many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, William John Broce and Elizabeth Hoback Chafin, and her loving husband, who left her way too soon in 1998. She is survived by her siblings Bill Broce, Darlene Wilburn, and Audrey Carolyn Munoz. Her three children, Dr. Hugh A. Miller III, Stephanie Miller Hurley, and Rebecca Miller Mabry. She has two grandsons, John T. Miller, and Kevin Lee Mabry II. She also has three great-grandchildren Sierra Lynn Hill, Neriyah Johnson, and Ma’Leeyah Mims. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Sunset Cemetery in Christiansburg VA.
