Obituary of Robert L. Pryor

Robert Lamar Pryor, Jr., born June 1, 1930, in Baltimore, MD, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 in Palm Bay, FL, following a two year struggle with complications from a brain tumor. He was the third of eight children born to the late Robert Lamar Pryor and Josephine Plunkett Pryor. Bob is survived by three daughters, Shaun Claire Pryor, Kimberly Ann Szymanowski, Darby Pryor Aumen, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two brothers, George Pryor (Sharon) of Texas and Richard Pryor (Eunice) of Delaware. He was predeceased by his son Scott Lamar Pryor in 1982 and, also, by his companion of 30+ years, Elizabeth Kaufmann in 2017. Bob graduated from Calvert Hall College in Baltimore, MD. His career was in residential real estate and development in Maryland, New Jersey and Florida. He was an avid sports fan and loved the game of golf.
