Obituary of Daniel R Mercier

In Loving Memory Daniel R. Mercier, 64 passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, Dec 18, 2016. Dan was born in Green Bay, WI, home of the Green Bay Packers. Dan was a Software Test Engineer for Harris Corporation for 38 years, and retired in 2013. He was a believer, a servant and advocate of Christ. Dan attended Calvary Chapel of Melbourne for over 20 years. Where he was one of the directors of guest services. In addition to his dedication to his faith, he was the biggest Green Bay Packer fan in Florida. He also enjoyed running 5K races, speaking at Toastmasters and giving the gift of laughter with a clean but memorable joke that left you smiling. He was a loving and devoted son, husband, and father. Daniel is survived by his mother, Hope C. Mercier; his wife of 35 years, Terri L. Mercier; two daughters, Trishina DeStefano and her husband David; and Andrea Hartzell and her husband Jon; brother, Tom Mercier; sisters, Sue Burkart, Diane Gouin, and Cathie Mercier; Grandchildren, Gage, Victoria, Cheyenne, Jonathan, and Brayden. Memorial Services are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, January 7th at Calvary Chapel of Melbourne, 2955 Minton Rd. Melbourne. Reception to follow. Pastor Dave Kloos will officiate.
