Buddy A. Hopkins, 53, born August 23, 1965, passed on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne FL. He family includes his passing his wife, Sharon Renae Hopkins; mother, Barbara (Fisher) Elmore and her husband Ralph Elmore; his father Guy Crandell Hopkins, deceased; brother, Tony Hopkins and his wife Jane and nieces Lana Hopkins and Tara Hopkins-Swanton and her husband Max; sister Debra Jean Hopkins; ex-wife Joy Kilpatrick and children son Thomas Cole and wife Tara with children Baylee and Jax; daughter, Kayla Hopkins-Shanes and husband Steven with children Devon, Darin, and Steven; son, Joshua Hopkins; daughter, Krystina Hopkins; aunt, Bonnie Fisher Thompson and her husband Larry with children Dawn, Michael, and Jill; uncle, William Fisher and wife Kay with sons Billy John, Thomas, and Patrick; sisters in law, Patti Landay and her husband Alan, Deborah Barzen Miller and her children son Ryan Fisher and wife Lisa and daughter Shannon; brother in law, William A. Barzen and wife Lori. He loves the Denver Broncos and enjoys seeing them beat his wife’s Pittsburgh Steelers, playing Texas Hold’em and Poker, horse and dog racing, evening walks under a full moon, music & movies, and remembering that “Once a Marine Always a Marine”. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 Hickory Street, Melbourne FL. Pastors Joseph and Sheila Pellizze will officiate.
