Obituary of Elvin Joe “Bosco” Parker

Elvin Joe GÇ£BoscoGÇ¥ Parker, Jr., 55, of Melbourne, FL died at Holmes Regional Medical Center on February 8, 2015. He was born in Melbourne on January 10, 1960 to Elvin Joe and Eugenia Washington Parker, Sr. His family includes his wife of 19 years Marilyn T. Parker; children Lawanda Parker, Terron Rawls, LaToya Moore, Shakila White, Quinton Parker, and Quincy Parker; brother Rodney Miles; sisters Brenda Cunningham and Kimberly Parker; 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Elvin Joe Parker, Sr. and Eugenia Washington Stone; grandmother Catherine Stone; and several brothers. Bosco worked four years for J and S Plastering and also for 13 years for Ray’s Precast. He was a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Melbourne, Florida. Arrangements entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 S. Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL (321) 724-2222. His viewing will be at Ammen Family Cremation, 1001 S. Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, February 13, 2015. His funeral service will be at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 1835 Bunche Street, Melbourne, FL at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 14, 2015 with Rev. Julius Demps officiating.
