To the family and friends of Michael Thornton,
Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one, Michael. It is very difficult when anyone you love dies. During this difficult time, please draw comfort from God’s words: “Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort….” (2 Corinthians 1:3) The Bible also says: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” (Revelation 21:4) We all look forward to the time, in the future, when this promise is fulfilled. Again, I am very sorry for your loss.

Some friendships are so deeply interwoven into your own life that discussing them is almost akin to talking about yourself. Mike was my fishing buddy, mentor, stand-in older brother, and occasionally a father figure when needed. The bedrock constant in my life–no matter where I was or what I was doing–the man I am today was shaped in no small part by my friendship with Michael. Geneva, my condolences to you and your family for your loss, Michael Thornton was a true friend, and he will be sorely missed.

We worked with the family on various projects over the years and really enjoyed their company. Learned many cleaning tricks from them. Mike was such a nice guy and we are so sorry for your loss. We will be donating gifts this Christmas to underprivileged children in his memory.
Know you are all in our thoughts and prayers,
Bonnie and Clark Jester
