My heart and prayers go out to your family. Death itself is hard enough but to lose someone so young is truly heartbreaking. Though words cannot diminish the pain you’re feeling at this time, please know that God is aware of the grief that death causes and he knows how deep your pain is. For such difficult times as this, he has provided much comfort in his written Word, where he holds out to you the wonderful hope of being reunited with Brien to a world free of suffering. Sickness and death will be gone forever. Please allow God to replace your tears of sorrow with tears of joy as you meditate on his sure promises that are soon to be fulfilled, along with your precious memories of the happier times that you shared with Brien.
