Obituary of Catherine A. Dyer

Catherine Arlene Dyer, 75, of Melbourne, FL passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016. Arlene was born on January 3, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA to Peter and Marguerite (McCaffrey) Karrenbauer. She moved to Melbourne from Gurnee, IL almost 30 years ago and worked, for many years, at Petty’s Meat Market. Arlene is survived by her son, John Dyer of Cocoa Beach; daughter, Lisa Duncan (Barry Passetti) of Melbourne; granddaughter, Megan (Lyle) Smith of Palm Bay; great granddaughter, Julianna; and a great grandson, Connor, who is due to arrive in September. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Ann (Raymond) Witzel of Melbourne, two nieces and a nephew. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents and her former spouse, Erwin Dyer. Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care are taking care of her arrangements. Burial will be private.
