I spent a few times riding “shotgun” with Roy when I first became a member of the club. I will always remember his stories and the great times we had in the club. He will be missed by all of us. My condolences to Mary Ann and all the family for your loss.

Words can’t express how we feel. Roy was a great guy. He taught Tony so much when they were fishing together. He was always fun to be with and had great stories. You and Roy were missed when you moved from Berkeley Plaza, but never forgot your BP friends, having us and other friends for dinner and barbecues. We had many good times together and you made us feel special—like family. How much Roy adored you was obvious. We send you hugs. You are in our prayers. Much Love, Tony and Ginger

I know Mary-Ann since we were in our early 20’s. I met Roy about 5 years ago at their house in Satellite Beach. As soon as I met him I felt like I knew him forever. I knew she finally hit the jackpot with this kind and caring man. So glad he came into her life. So sorry for the pain and sorrow now. Love you my friend abd wish you the best to get through this very difficult time.

We have been friends with Mary-Ann & Roy since 2011, when they came to live in Berkeley Plaza. Our friendship remained strong when Roy and Mary-Ann moved to Satellite Beach, The Villages, and back to Satellite Beach as we continued to stay in touch and visit with them. They loved to host parties for their friends and
their love for each other was beautiful and special. Rest in peace, dear Roy. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Roy’s hero, Mary-Ann, along with our continued friendship and love.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Roy’s family and friends. I enjoyed listening to all the stories about the “trophies on the wall” and Pine Valley history during “buck week” when I first came into the club. Thank you for those fond memories, you will be missed.

Roy and I started out with Pine Valley Rod and Gun Club about the same time. We spent many days hunting both in the woods of South Jersey and also hunting in the state of Maine. I never knew a nicer man and friend. I will miss him and never forget the memories we shared while on the hunt. Hope to see you again Roy my friend , in the “Great Here After”. Jim Vasile ( Delaware)
