Obituary of Timothy P. Lovelock

Timothy P. Lovelock, 52, of West Melbourne, Florida, died January 4, 2019 of brain cancer. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Fort Lauderdale and Brooksville, Florida. He was a proud alumni of University of Central Florida. Prior to his illness, he last served as Director of Planning for Leonardo DRS, Melbourne, Florida. He spent his career in aerospace and defense contract manufacturing. He was most proud to be a loving dad to daughters Anne and Emily, and best friend and husband of 20 years to Stacey. In addition to them, he is survived by his parents, Thomas and Ellen Lovelock, Brooksville, FL; brothers Michael (Nancy) Lovelock of Brooksville, FL, David (Angie) Lovelock of Palmetto, FL and Thomas Jr. of Brooksville. Surviving family also include aunt Margaret Donovan, Spring Hill, FL, uncles Joseph (Carol) Lovelock of Sunset Park, NY, Robert (Mary) Lovelock of Homosassa, FL, and his nephews Donovan and Kyle Lovelock, Andrew Philcox and niece, Alanna Lovelock. He was much loved by his many cousins, friends, and coworkers, who supported his family during his brain tumor battle. Flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be made in Tim’s honor to Biden Cancer Initiative, Washington, DC or Hospice of St. Francis, Titusville, FL. Tim’s Memorial/Celebration of Life will be at 3pm, Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Ammen Family Chapel, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL 32901. A funeral mass will be held at 1pm, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Saint Anthony the Abbott Catholic Church, 20428 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville, FL 34601
