Obituary of Ann Wolf
ROCKLEDGE – Ann Wolf, 70, went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2019.
She was born in Michigan and lived most of her life there. She moved to Florida in 2012.
Ann was a retired optician who enjoyed working hard and taking care of her patients. She had such a loving heart that patients would frequently open up to her by sharing their struggles. She could often be found praying with and hugging her patients for encouragement. She simply loved people and desired to share Christ’s love with all she met.
She had a sense of adventure and enjoyed traveling either to visit her children and grandchildren, for exploration, and to Monster Truck shows. She attended Church at Viera since moving to Florida and enjoyed bonding with the ladies in her Bible study classes. She took advantage of living so close to the ocean by visiting the beach on a regular basis. She also took delight watching the animals at the local zoo and hanging out with family for Fun Fridays.
Ann loved being a mother and her children include Stacey Sutton and her husband, Robert; Corey Pendergrass and his wife, Missy; Shane Wolf; Danielle Wolf; and Heath Wolf and his wife Jennifer. Her grandchildren include Emily, Elaine, Elizabeth, and William (Stacey/Robert); Shalee and Lindsley (Corey/Yolanda); Sarah (Robert, fiancé; Corey/Missy). Her great grandchildren include Ryan, Riley, Ryder, and Rayna (Corey/Missy).
She was married to William (Bill) Pendergrass until his death in 1974. She cherished his extended family as her own. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Daniel N. Wolf in 2005. Family from that marriage include mother-in-law, Charlene Wolf; brother-in-laws, Chris Wolf (Dru) and Ed Knuth (Elizabeth); and sister-in-laws, Sylvia Wolf, Juanita Brissette (Joseph), and Colleen Uecker (Willy) and Gale Wolf. She was also preceded in death by her brother Carl and her parents, Luther and Grace Lindsley.
A celebration of her life will be held open house manner at Heath and Jennifer’s residence on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. All family and friends are welcome to attend. Please contact the family for further information.
