Obituary of Shannon Rose Rabine
Shannon Rose Rabine passed away on 21 September, 2012 after a prolonged battle with congestive heart problems. Shannon was a wonderfully supportive and loving wife and mother. She was a dedicated and innovative homemaker and maintained her love of flowers and gardening throughout her life. She will be greatly missed.
Shannon, the daughter of Elvin and Isabel Bosarge, was born and raised in Biloxi, Miss. Where she met and married Edwin Rabine who was serving in the U.S. Air Force at the time. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, her sons George and Robert of Melbourne, FL and her son Scott of Lynn Haven, FL. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and her brothers Ira G. Bosarge and Elvin Bosarge, Jr. of Biloxi, Miss.
Shannon moved to Melbourne, FL with her family in February 1962 where they have maintained a home since that time. During her 60 years of marriage she has the opportunity of traveling extensively both in the U.S. And internationally and visited numerous countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and Central America. She also lived with family for extended periods in the countries of Japan, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Oman and Mexico. She thoroughly enjoyed the international periods of her life and spent many happy hours reminiscing about her interesting and exciting experiences.
