Obituary of Allen David Williams

Allen David Williams, 60 years old, of Palm Bay, FL, originally from Asheboro, NC, died Monday, January 1, 2018 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida. Mr. Williams was a native of Randolph County, NC and previously worked for Energizer Battery in Asheboro. He moved to Palm Bay, Florida to enjoy life and be closer to the warmth and sunshine. He was an amazing man, from mechanic to artist to music enthusiast. He was magical with his hands when it came to customizing vehicles, woodworking, and anything else you could imagine. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed working on cars, drag races, and the beach. He is survived by his loving and devoted fiancé, Donna L. Soby of Palm Bay, FL; daughter Christine W. Mills of Charleston, SC and husband Cecil; sons Joshua A. Williams of Asheboro, NC, and David A. Williams of Asheboro, NC, and his wife Christan; 9 grandchildren Stephanie, Leigh, Zoe, Emma, Isaiah, Anna-Mae, and Ayden Mills of Charleston, SC, Whyatt and Abigail Williams of Asheboro, NC; father W. Leon Williams of Asheboro, NC; brother William “Billy” C. Williams of Palm Bay, FL; niece Ashley Williams and nephew Jason Williams, both of Asheboro, NC. Preceded in death by his brother Gary Williams and mother Sybil Williams. By the wishes of my dad, we will not have a funeral service. Maybe instead, you should have a Cheerwine and a Jesse Jones hot dog to celebrate the man he was and the legacy he lived.
