Obituary of Helen T. Sacks

Helen T. Sacks, age 93, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2018. Helen was born on December 4, 1924 in Green Lane, Pennsylvania to the late Maryon and Josephine (Kownacka) Szustkiewicz. A lifelong resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was a Graduate in Butler Business School and did IBM keypunch and bookkeeping. She loved memorizing poems and Bible verses, which she shared with her grand and great grandchildren. Her laughter and “telling little jokes” brought joy to the whole family. She enjoyed reading her bible everyday. We always called on her when we needed prayer, and in her wisdom, she would say, “remember, you need to pray too”. We will miss you so much, Mom, (Nan & Granny) you have filled our lives with so much love, fun and laughter, that you will always remain in our hearts. Helen worked in the Healthcare industry as a Caregiver. Helen in survived by her daughter Sherrie (James) Vlacich; grandson John (Sharon) Vlacich; grandson Jim Vlacich; grandson Jason (Simone) Vlacich; great granddaughter Amy Vlacich; great grandson Jesse Vlacich; great grandson Justin Vlacich; great grandson Tyler Vlacich; great granddaughter Rachel Vlacich; great grandson Joshua Vlacich; great granddaughter Michelle Vlacich and daughter in law Cynthia Vlacich. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Wesley United Methodist Church 2015 Meadowlane Avenue, West Melbourne, Florida.
