Obituary of Diane M. Sauer

Diane Mary Sauer, 84, passed into the hands of God on Tuesday April 12, 2016. Diane was born in New York City on November 21, 1931. She often said “I have lived such a blessed life.” She was special person capable of touching the lives of everyone she ever met. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jay Sauer, the love of her life. She is survived by her brother, Richard Climo, NY. She was the most loving mother to her children, Gail Mimler of Clermont, FL, Todd Sauer of Robbinsville, NC, and John Sauer of Auburndale, FL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Herb Mimler, Mike Mimler, Jennifer Passeritti, Jason Sauer, Lauren Sauer, Megan Sauer, TJ Sauer, and Kristy Sauer; and six great-grandchildren, Emma, Sean, Lillian, Lindsay, Gavin, Matteo. She retired to Melbourne in 1989, and loved reading and her bridge clubs. She had many friends throughout her life and she loved her church and this community.Diane’s memorial service is this Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church at 10:00 am with a reception immediately following the service.
