Obituary of James E. Desaulniers

James E. Desaulniers, age 51, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 1, 2019 at home in Melbourne, Florida. He was surrounded by family. He was born on January 19, 1968, in Boston, Massachusetts and lived in the area until he moved to Melbourne, Florida in 2015. He was a 1986 graduate of Marblehead High School. He made a career as a facilities manager, which at one time led him to briefly live in Cairo, Egypt. Jim was known for his big, outgoing personality.  He loved to explore new places and made friends everywhere he went. His sense of humor and brave spirit will be missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Mireya Guerrero Urbina; daughters, Victoria and Abigail Desaulniers; stepson, Edgar Jesus Guanda Guerrero; stepdaughter, Maria Carolina Guanda Guerrero; mother, Janet Desaulniers; sister, Michelle (Jeff Foster) Desaulniers; brothers, Timothy (Kristen) Desaulniers and Eugene Desaulniers; step granddaughters, Victoria, Valeska and Valentina. A Memorial Mass will take place on May 18, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Community Center, 5655 Stadium Parkway, Viera, Florida. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm at the Hilton Melbourne Beach, 3003 N. Hwy. A1A, Melbourne, Florida.
