Obituary of Jeremy Mikhael Ghiz
Jeremy Mikhael Ghiz, born July 13, 1969 in Lynwood, California to Jack and Marilyn (Chi-Chi) Ghiz went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 04, 2016.
He had been a proud member of the United States Navy when he was younger and traveled to five out of seven continents. He also served in Dessert Storm, defending the Mediterranean Sea, even though he had been on medical leave, for a broken arm, prior to deployment.
Jeremy leaves behind his parents; siblings Jack, Jr., Joshua, Tiffany, Samuel, Nickolaus, and Mollie; Linda Abplanalp, former mother in law, who loved him like her own. He also had five nieces and five nephews and two great nieces. He was predeceased by his first wife, Darlene, who gave him a son, Logan, 22. He also had an ex-wife, Jennifer, who gave him a daughter, Ava, 12, and a long standing girlfriend, Rene Byhanna, who gave him a son, Jacob, 16. Robyn Hatfield also gave him a son, Chayse,19.
Jeremy had worked with his father as a partner and fabricator at Top Drawer Custom Closet for many years before going to work at Patrick Air Force base over twenty years.
Sailing and boating were his passion since he loved the water. He was an accomplished sailman (family term) and owned a beautiful sail boat, which he kept nearby in the Indian River.
Key West was his +óGé¼-£Happy Place+óGé¼Gäó and he spent many months there in 2014. He thought of himself as a native of that area and only returned home because his family missed him so much.
Jeremy was passionate about his family and loved each one with his whole heart. He especially loved his children and had a special place for them tucked into that big loving heart of his. This +óGé¼+ôGentle Giant+óGé¼-¥ will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 11 at 3:00 p.m. at Jesus is the Key church, 2008 Pineapple Avenue Melbourne, Florida 32935
