Obituary of Richard Cook

Richard Cook was known as a strong man of God with a father’s heart. He greatly valued his family putting them first in all he did. Richard loved working with his hands and was always ready and willing to serve others. Richard was a good ole’ country boy that knew a little somethin’-somethin’ about everything: a “jack of all trades”. Give him duct tape and screwdriver and he could work wonders. While he exhibited much strength as leader of his family he also showed such tenderness as he was a care-giver of his grandchildren who were the apple of his eye. Richard was a loving husband, father, son, grandpa, uncle, brother, and friend. Richard’s sweet smile and warm presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him. When all is said and done he’ll always be remembered as our “Great Poppy”.
