Obituary of Thomas L. Kaelin

Thomas Kaelin West Melbourne Thomas GÇ£TomGÇ¥ L. Kaelin, passed away on Thursday, February 5th, at his home. He was born in Louisville, KY and was a graduate of the University of Louisville. He proudly and honorably served his country in the US Marine Corps and then started his career in Financial Management with the General Electric Company. During his career, he worked in Louisville, KY, Waukesha, WI, Juarez, Mexico, Tyler, TX and Clarksville, TN. He retired in 1993 from American Standard and relocated to Pinellas Park, FL in 1997 and finally to West Melbourne, FL in 2000. Tom is survived by his son, Michael Kaelin of Fairdale, KY; daughter, Debra Kaelin of Louisville, KY; sister, Andrea (John W.) Holmes of West Melbourne; his best friend and loving companion, Carol Altman of West Melbourne; five grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen A. Denton; his parents, Catherine L. and Andrew J. Kaelin; and his sister, Janice Merritt. A private family memorial will be held. He will be buried with military honors at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery at a later date.
