Obituary of Mary R. Deeney

Mary R Deeney (nee Malloy), age 85, passed away at her home on January 30, 2015 surrounded by her loving husband of 65 years, Thomas A Deeney, and other family members. Mary was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a long time resident of Audubon, NJ. In her retirement she traveled for many years with her husband before settling in Melbourne FL. She is survived by her husband, Thomas A. Deeney, and their five children (predeceased by one daughter), nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her two sisters Nancy (Robert) Tierney and Bernice (James) Rogers. Mary graduated from Hallahan High School in Philadelphia. After raising her six children she graduated from Rowan University in Glassboro NJ. Mary worked for many years as a government employee and retired from the Social Security Administration in Philadelphia. Final internment will be private and will take place in New Jersey at a later date.
