Obituary of Arthur “Nip” Halstead

Nip was called from a peaceful sleep to be with his Heavenly Father, at his home in Palm Bay on June 19, 2015. He was born in Norfolk , VA, where he worked as a welder in the Norfolk shipyards for 30 years. Nip served proudly in the United States Army. He fought hard for his country in the Vietnam War, 1965-1967. He had the privilege of living in Carova Beach, NC for 18 years. It was his +óGé¼+ôlittle piece of heaven+óGé¼-¥, before being transplanted to Palm Bay, Florida He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Donna Coyle Halstead; daughter, Sherrie Lynn McCoy; son, Jeffrey Eric Donahue; granddaughters, Emily Jane McCoy and Jessica Marie Dow; grandsons, Brian Christopher Dow and Anthony Francis Rose A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
