Obituary of Frances C. Bissonnette
Frances C. Bissonnette, born October 15, 1925 in Burlington VT, passed on Thursday, March 21, 2019 in Melbourne FL. Daughter of the late Raymond and Hazel (Hammond) Lapan, she moved from Burlington to FL in the early 1960’s.
She went to be with our Lord, surrounded by her family, taking her last breath to the sweet sound of In The Garden . . . and He walks with me and He talks with me and He tells me I am His own.
In Vermont she attended Cathedral High School and was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Milton and St. Stephen Catholic Church, Winooski.
She enjoyed bingo and crossword puzzles, had a quick sense of humor and was loved by all that met her. Fran lived for her family and often said they were the wind beneath her wings.
Her family includes her late husband of 52 years, Roger M. Bissonnette. She leaves to mourn her loss, her children, Louis (Joy) Bissonnette, David Bissonnette, Linda (Robert) Olsen, Debra (Warren) Wallace; brother, Ronald Lapan; grandchildren, Andrew (Jennifer) Bissonnette, David Bissonnette, Cheri (Shawhan) Proctor, Leeanne (Jonathan) Greene and Brian (Jennifer) Bleau; and her great grandchildren, Andrew Bissonnette, Hudson Bissonnette, Miller Bissonnette, Ian Bissonnette, Logan Proctor, Cameron Proctor, Chase Greene, Ashlynn Greene, Colten Bleau, Harley Bleau and Riley Bleau, .
A funeral mass to celebrate her life will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 300 Malabar Road, Palm Bay FL on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. She will be placed alongside her late husband at Fort Ethan Allen Cemetery in Colchester VT.
In her memory consider a memorial donation to the Alzheimer’s Association.
