Obituary of Frank J. Dogoda

Frank J. Dogoda passed away at home after a long illness. Frank was born on July 31,1931 in Rochester, New York to Frank and Martha (Wichlacz) Dogoda. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his two siblings Anthony Dogoda and Joan Zambito. Frank attended St. Stanislaus and Edison Technical schools in Rochester. After which, he joined the US Marine Corps. He was employed as a tool and die maker by Eastman Kodak until 1978 when he relocated to Melbourne, Florida. There he was employed by Documation and Opto Mechanik Inc. Frank was an accomplished musician who played the guitar and harmonica among other instruments. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, metal detecting and several other hobbies. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Nancy Dogoda and their three children, Peter and his wife Elena of Pasadena MD, Stephen and his wife Minuchina, and William of Melbourne Fl. Also four grandchildren, Leanne, Jonathan, Kyle and Diana, as well as one great grandchild Caleb and ten nieces and nephews. Frank will be laid to rest at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 10:30 am. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 1:30pm at 3443 Saddle Brook Dr., Melbourne, FL 32934. All are welcome. Family can be contacted at 321-536-9540.
