Obituary of Michael F. Janicki

Michael F. Janicki, Jr., age 81 passed on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, he was retired from the US Army after over 20 years of service, serving in Vietnam.  He received many award, including; National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with four Bronze Service Stars, Bronze Star Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Army Commendation Medal with one Oak Leaf Cluster, Republic of Vietnam Civil Actions Medal, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, Good Conduct Medal Clamp, Silver, 2 Loops and Sharpshooter. He loved dogs and enjoyed playing golf, watching sports and old movies. He leaves his daughter, Jeannie Fiske and his grandsons, Connor and Charles Fiske, all of Easton MA. His service, with military honors, will be on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 4:30 PM at Borderland State Park, North Easton, MA. In lieu of flowers consider donations to the Fisher House Foundation.
