Obituary of Paul McMurray Cox

In loving Memory of Paul McMurray Cox, Jr., born in Baltimore, Maryland on Leap Year (February 29, 1940), passed away on May 24, 2017. On that day, my sister (Veronica), my brother (Paul), my half sister (Becky), my step sister (Brenda) and I (Lisa), along with 2 of his remaining sisters (Margie & Ceily). his son-in-law (Doug), his daughter-in-law (Anne) and his nieces, nephews, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren, we lost our dad/father-in-law/brother/uncle/grandfather way too young but we know he's in a better place now, out of pain and catching up with all those we've lost over the years, including his Mother & Father (Granny-pop & Granny-mom), his 2nd wife (Cathy), his grandparents and two of his sisters (Maryland & Vickie). I (Lisa) went to see my dad a couple of weeks ago not knowing it would be the last time I told him I loved him, give him a hug or even a kiss, I'm so glad I got to do that one last time and hopefully that memory went with him. Dad, I always told you that you reminded me of Conway Twitty so until we meet again I'll always remember you saying “Hello Darlin” when I'd talk to you. All of us hope that your love for Elvis, NASCAR, working in the Orange Groves here in Florida back when us kids were younger and your love for when you were a Volunteer Fire Fighter for many years has gone with you and you will get to enjoy all those things all over again. We will always remember the times we spent with you, think of you often and miss you with all our hearts. Until we meet again, please watch over us. RIP!
