Obituary of Vincent W. Stone

Vincent W. Stone passed away at 82 on his birthday, October 1, 2017.  He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia; daughter Susan (Bill) Kraus, sons Vincent Jr. (Kristine) and Christopher (Patti); grandchildren Brian, Lesley, Bradley, Vincent III and Makaela; brother Roland Stone and sister Eleanor Isenhart.  He was predeceased by his parents William and Eleanor Stone. He graduated from Mohawk Valley Institute in 1955 and was first employed by Bell Laboratories.  He served in the US Army for 2 years.  In1962 he received a BSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he was a member of Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu.  He was employed by Radiation and retired as Vice President of Engineering and Programs of the Harris Controls Division. Vince achieved his goal to retire at age 50 and, when not playing tennis, he and Pat enjoyed traveling. Arrangements entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Melbourne, FL  (321) 724-2222. His Funeral Mass was held on October 11th.
