Obituary of Walter “Dewey” Duval

Walter “Dewey” Duval, 68, of West Newfield, ME and Melbourne, FL passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida. He was born in Wakefield, MA on May 16, 1950 to the late John and Jessie (Muse) Duval. Dewey was an avid fisherman and boatsman and he loved riding his motorcycle. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and boyfriend. He is survived by his longtime companion Diane Walsh his family and former wife, Cheryl Duval; three sons, Paul Doucette, Timothy Duval and Joseph Meuse; a stepson, Michael Doucette; four grandchildren; several step grandchildren; a brother, Jack Duval; two sisters, Patricia Robinson and Jessie Christopher; several nieces and nephews; and beloved dog Ruby. He was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Meuse and a sister, Marcia Whipple. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
