Obituary of Eleanor Nordstrom Toms
Eleanor Nordstrom Toms 4/11/1920 – 4/13/2017
Passed away peacefully at home with her family be her side .
She was the youngest of 10 children the only one born in a hospital to Isaac R Peters and Matilda Plouffe Peters. Raised in Massachusetts she met and married George Nordstrom. They lived in Oakdale where had 2 daughters. Always hard working Eleanor and George had a successful catering business and German restaurant (L & L Club) in Clinton Mass. Eleanor made a home for people who needed a place to live. These people became family and still are. She was a volunteer Pink lady at Wuestoff hospital. She joined a group of ladies that dressed up as clowns that entertained at nursing homes. She was also a demo lady at Publix at Byrd Plaza. She joined the Anderson senior center where she loved to line and ballroom dance. Eleanor was predeceased by her husbands George Nordstrom and Thomas Toms. She was survived by Patricia Larson and Linda Burnett. She has 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
