Obituary of Shirley Eileen Wisneski

Shirley passed away at the age of 90 years. Her presence with us was truly a blessing, she was loving, kind and considerate, a true pleasure to know. She loved being a mother, grandmother, and a great grandmother. She enjoyed old movies and square dancing, and was an animal lover. One of her favorite memories was the cruise to the Bahamas with her children in 2008. Shirley was born in Elmira, NY.  She traveled to California, where she lived for many years, before returning to NY and finally retiring in Barefoot Bay, FL with her husband John J. Wisneski, Sr., whom she loved dearly. They were married for 51 years and had four children, John J. Wisneski Jr., Mark S.Wisneski, Lynn Rush and Sandra Simmons; 11 granchildren, John J. Wisneski, III, Eric Wisneski, Robert Wisneski, Kristy Gilboy, Jennifer Mosher, Jason Simmons, Jillian Simmons, DeAnna Harmon, Daniel Simmons, Katlyn Habens and Thomas Hutchens; many great grandchildren. A very special thank you to Georgiana Wisneski who was there through the years for mom and at the time of her death. Shirley also had a great friendship with Arlene Giese for many years. We will all miss you and love you. Rest in peace.
