Obituary of Peter James White
Peter slipped peacefully into the arms of The Lord at 7:30 pm at Cape Canaveral Hospital only yards from where he was born, gazing out over the river that he loved so much.
He was surrounded by family that loved him dearly.
Peter leaves behind his parents, Carmel (Tracy) and Peter, his brothers Jason and Vincent, and his brother Steve in the UK, and extended family. He also leaves behind his son Peter and daughter Jocelyn.
A typical Florida boy, Peter loved to hunt and fish and whenever he felt the need for peace it was to the river that he turned. Growing older he lost his way for a while and in recent years his love for the water returned. This time he was able to teach his son some of the better fishing spots.
Peter loved people and he was loved in return. He always saw the good in a person no matter who they were. As the “Baby” in our family he was always spoiled and seemed to get away with things his brothers did not. He could turn on the charm and his smile would light up the room. He was a very talented cook and his barbecue was mouth watering.
Some would say he never grew up and they would be right, and now he will stay forever young in our hearts.
Rest In Peace.A service to remember Peter and celebrate his life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 Hickory Street, Melbourne FL.
